One of the best parts of my job is working with families year after year and seeing how everyone grows. I LOVE watching families welcome new babies, celebrate milestones, and just get closer than ever. This sweet family is one I’ve worked with before – back when we both lived in Oklahoma thanks to the military. I photographed their announcement for baby #4 and now they have baby #5!! I was so excited when they asked me to photograph and plan classic newborn portraits for Baby Lawson!

Classic Newborn Portraits

Creating classic newborn portraits for Baby Lawson was such a joy. We settled on a simple neutral color scheme for him that gave these images such a timeless look. He was just the cutest throughout our session, sleeping and staying curled up. Near the end, he did decide to wake up and we captured some truly precious awake shots that showed off his little personality! Throughout the session, I also captured him with his siblings! Baby Lawson is number 5, making it 4 boys and 1 girl for this amazing family. Everyone was so well behaved and I truly love these images.
