Working with Ashley to capture her Eklutna Lake maternity portraits was absolutely amazing! And, with her looking like a model the entire time, how could it not be?! She made my job so easy because she was relaxed and just ready to enjoy celebrating the (almost) arrival of her new baby boy. With her husband and sons, we spent the time exploring this beautiful lake and documenting this special time for her family. I don’t know if I’ll ever get over how beautiful Alaska is – now and always. I’m so grateful this is my playground to explore and to use with my clients for their big moments!

Eklutna Lake Maternity Portraits

Eklutna Lake was simply beautiful for Ashley’s maternity portraits. She looked stunning in a deep navy gown and seriously had the pregnancy glow! I love that Ashley wanted her husband and their two boys with her for the session. I think it’s just so special to capture the entire family as they await their newest arrival! Feeling supported and loved as you prepare to grow your family is SO important – and now, they’ll always have these images to remind them of this special time. Their sons were just wonderful for me and I had a great time getting to know them. And her husband? He made me laugh!! He was quite the character, getting in some goofy shots. But it was great. It kept all of us entertained and I could tell everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves. That’s all that matters to me!
