I’m excited to share my latest classic newborn portrait session with you today! There is something special about newborns that is captivating. I will never grow tired of capturing their angelic smiles and subtle movements as they sleep. It is always extra special when I have the opportunity to photograph families near and dear to my heart like this one. They are good family friends of ours, so I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their newest addition, Ashley.  Ashley’s mom is one of the kindest humans I know. She is also an amazing mom to her now twelve children! Ashley is only a month younger than my baby boy. Naturally, her mom and I are already joking about an arranged marriage!  

CLASSIC NEWBORN PORTRAITS

I couldn’t wait to meet and capture the sweetness of newborn Ashley.  For this classic newborn portrait session, we created a dreamy setting with light pinks, white, and other neutral hues. Her lace hat was adorable and the perfect addition to the session.  Ashley had the most darling expressions as she slept. She did wake up briefly and I was able to capture a precious photo of her looking up, which I absolutely love in black and white!  My favorite images from Ashley’s session are the ones of her wrapped snuggly in a blanket while her sweet mama holds her close.  It was such a joy to photograph baby Ashley and celebrate this families’ newest bundle of joy!  Enjoy a few of her mama’s favorite images from Ashley’s Classic Newborn Session!
